each mailing, hurting brand recognition, open rates and email
deliverability (20% of legitimate marketing emails don’t
reach subscribers because of mistakes like this).

Challenge
Bluefly,
a leading e-commerce retailer, needed to hire a Director of
Marketing to grow their acquisition and retention programs.
Results
The
Interactive Strategist went through an intensive interview
process. Detailed questions about optimizing Bluefly’s
programs were asked and answered in good faith. To further
differentiate his candidacy, a pitch kit was also provided.
While a job offer was not extended, the deliverables merit
review...especially as Bluefly quickly implemented some strategies.
(Thus, this is the only unpaid work highlighted in the case
study section.) Specifically, the Interactive Strategist:
