Available
in 10 languages, the intranet resources also enable global
employees to assess their volunteering skills and take online
training. Employees can even tailor their volunteer choices
depending on how much time they can give. As a result, this
initiative helped IBM employees donate over 4 million volunteer
hours last year.

Challenge
Building
on a deep tradition of corporate citizenship, IBM wanted to
introduce an employee intranet to encourage and support volunteerism.
Results
The
Interactive Strategist helped IBM launch a rich portfolio
of 140 proven solutions to empower employees to improve their
communities. Specifically, the Interactive Strategist:
