To engage customers the Interactive Strategist conceived strategies and rules to deliver relevant emails based on lifecycle, behavior and purchase history. The above was versioned for petite (short) customers in the subject line and body of the email, and saw significant lift over generic cells.

   


Challenge
Charming Shoppes, the nation’s third largest specialty retailer with the brands LaneiBryant, FashioniBug andiCatherines, had seen a plateau in revenue from affiliate and search marketing.

Results
The Interactive Strategist was selected to lead the email, affiliate and search programs. With ownership of strategy and execution, he:

Increased affiliate revenue by 380%.
Grew paid search revenue by 350% and exposure by 1000%, while reducing cost per sale by 50%.
Improved email inbox deliverability by 20%.
Won LinkShare Golden Link Award for “Innovative Merchant of the Year” in affiliate marketing.
